Cuddle Quilt

Life is busy and I have just updated Gatedhill Studio after nearly a month. But I took sometime out from the studio and packing yesterday and went to Guild for a Sew day were members came with sewing machines, and material to sew , assess and/or entertained for most of the day . It was great fun and I learned a new to me technique of a quick sew baby quilt called "cuddle quilts ( our guild donates these for charity). I just about had it finished before I left and only needed to attach the binding.

The binding is on and I'll finish it up this weekend. One reason the quilt was quick to make was that one  member purchased and precut the strips. So no fuss just sat down and went straight to the sewing.
